Combined Performance of Polyethylene Terephthalate Waste Plastic Polymer and Crumb Rubber in Modifying Properties of Hot Mix Asphalt

Nowadays, the use of recycled waste materials in road pavement is regarded not only as a positive option terms sustainability but also an appealing providing improved service performance. The current study aimed at evaluating performance crumb rubber and polyethylene terephthalate plastic polymer asphalt mixture modifying mechanical properties pavement. Experimental tests were carried out both for binder mixture. Different proportions mix used to systematically investigate effect ratio on material. experimental analysis reveals that combined application 10% by weight chips 2% are ideal ratios found effective test results indicate adding reduced penetration 1.56% along with increment softening point 4.33%. Furthermore, indicated optimum amount resulted 0.17% rise, 20.07% drop, 20.71% increase Marshal stability, flow, stiffness, respectively. Besides, tensile strength was enhanced addition filler materials. It witnessed additives performs better than their separate mix.
